About Ed Hayes Ray

Frederick began his journey in drama during High School at a local drama club, which unfortunately has shut down, as the owner relocated to a different country. He is now on a mission to secure his first role, ready to embrace any opportunity that arises. In addition, he enjoys creating his own music. He is passionate about supporting the acting careers of others, just as he is about his own. His performance background includes several stage productions during his elementary school years at a local theater in Brooklyn, New York City. He remains a dedicated member of his church and community and has served as a firefighter for ten years, currently residing in Carthage, North Carolina.
Frederick also leverages his acting skills to uplift and motivate those around him. This year (2025) is particularly thrilling as he prepares for his debut in a feature film at the age of 46. Frederick is excited to draw from his life experiences and passion for acting in every role he undertakes. He now writes and performs his own short scripts, which he plans to upload soon. Additionally, he runs his own business, Merchz By Ray, LLC, where he is launching a clothing line called "The ED HAYES Brand TM." He wishes to express his gratitude to his parents for their steadfast support during challenging times, reminding him that valuable things often come with difficulties! He dedicates his performances to his three amazing children and his wife, with whom he has been married for 27 years and counting; they are his greatest source of inspiration, alongside the Lord Himself. Frederick is truly thankful for the encouragement of his family, friends, and faith community as he embarks on this creative and unforgettable journey.
